Liquid Lacquer No Quarter

I'm still undead  alive, just been having computer issues that didn't let me catch up, and I have three posts' worth of catching up to do. Plus Lestat the zom-bird bit me so hard under my lip on Monday that I needed 10 stitches (at least...) to get put back together again. Love bites, literally.

Anyway. Who's ready to continue on the Zeppelin tour of rainbow holo-ness?

Today brings us No Quarter and its fantasmical green holo-ness. Very Halloween-appropriate, actually....then again to me just about everything is Halloween-appropriate. No Quarter is a forest green holo that gets something of a golden cast, I'm wagering from the interaction of the color with the holo, in some lights. More magical than the Misty Mountains (bonus points if you catch the Zeppelin/LOTR crossover reference here). Shown are three mesmerizing coats.

Elevation Polish Gobi

So I think summer is finally on its way out the door. Temps are in the low to mid 70s for the most part, and it's raining like the wrath of Cthulhu out there today. Not your thing? I know just the vacation destination for you:

Fabulous brochure pic, no? Doesn't it make you want to break out your bikini and a gallon of SPF 100+? Alright, maybe a little too dry. Just a little. Unless you're into this look.

Its namesake polish, though, is anything but. Elevation Polish Gobi is a (appropriately) sand-colored holo with green duochrome flash. Take my word for it when I say no picture can really do it proper justice. You have to wear it, to actually  see it in action to get the full scope of amazingness. One moment it's brownish, one moment greenish, one moment gold, one moment duochrome, one moment holo, and any combination of those things at any time depending on the light. Whew. But until technology somehow makes it so you can zap 3-D holograms directly to your screen, I think my photos should suffice.

Elevation Polish Glow Worm Caves

I think I've found my next vacation destination.

It might be a natural wonder, but New Zealand's Glow Worm Caves is really more Star Trek than National Geographic.

See what I mean? It's a thing of unearthly beauty. And so is its namesake polish.

Elevation Polish Glow Worm Caves is a deep teal jelly with blue squares, green circles, brown hexes and tiny blue glitters. In other words, it is a thing of wondrous glowy depth.

This is only two coats. Because of the typical nature of jellies you might be as shocked as I am at this point but yes, this is indeed two coats with nary a streak in sight. The glitters applied really smoothly and evenly too, even those elusive brown hexes. Now that's really magical.

The brown hexes have surfaced!

This was a one-off prototype, but it just might reanimate as a final version in the future. In the meantime, dig up more otherwordly treasure at the Elevation shop and stalk Lulu's blog!
