Elevation Polish Pata Puffer

Do I have a glittergasm for you today. And. it's. pink.

i just had to make this gif of jinkx. lol, she’s adorable.

According to Lulu, the creator, Pata Puffer was inspired by one of these:

No sarcasm here (gasp!). It is what it looks like, a pink Patagonia puffer (try saying that ten times fast). Behind the brand is Lulu's joint passion for mountain climbing and nail polish, and as you can see from my other Elevation posts, most of the colors are inspired by natural wonders. This one, more something you'd wear while exploring said natural wonders. Not sure if this is the *exact* jacket that got bottled into this polish, but let's just say it must be a member of the family. Second-cousin-once-removed perhaps.

Pata Puffer is a magenta jelly stuffed with as many magenta hexes and microglitters as a real puffer is stuffed with goose down. Shown is three coats.

Sunlight:

Photo-glutted yet? No? You're in luck. I just couldn't resist tacking these on. I originally did them for a giveaway, and while I didn't win it gave me an excuse to partake of this amazeballs chocolate raspberry wine.

Sadly this one was a limited edition that isn't available anymore (Lulu, if you hear my wails of desperation, please bring it back someday!), but you can dig up many more colors Jinkx Monsoon would approve of at the Elevation Polish store. Did I mention there does exist a Pata Puffer II, which is a clear-based glitter topper that captures all the scrumptious pinkness of the original. Don't forget to stalk the blog for updates on monthly releases!

This polish was purchased by me.

Liquid Lacquer Houses of the Holy

You didn't think I'd abandon the Led Zeppelin tour now, did you?

Now that we have Jimmy's approval, let's move on to the real star of the show (sorry Jimmy). Moving on with the Physical Graffiti collection, Liquid Lacquer Houses of the Holo--er, Houses of the Holy is a medium purple jelly holo that no photo can do real justice. I tried, I really did.

This is four thin coats. If you're a little more generous three should be fine. Just don't make Jimmy too jealous.

Rock some Liquid Lacquer by going to their website and follow tour dates updates on Facebook!

This polish was purchased by me.

Elevation Pahlish Romantic Night in the Desert Duo

Love life a little...dry? Sick of candlelight and long walks on the beach? Looking for something to literally heat things up? How about a romantic night in the desert?

So maybe you don't exactly want to recreate this scene from The Mummy on your next date night. Understandable. Unless being chased around by undead things wrapped in linen is what turns you on. I won't judge. But you will want to scroll down and dig up the treasure I have to show you.

The Romantic Night in the Desert collaboration duo was a limited edition Valentine's collaboration between Elevation Polish and Pahlish consisting of Mt. Carmel, a (very appropriately named) caramelly pink shade with iridescent pink and gold flakies, and Coral Pink Sand Dunes, a mix of brown, copper, gold and pink glitters (including circle glitters!). Shown is 3 coats of Mt. Carmel alone on second and pinky fingers, and  2 coats of Coral Pink Sand Dunes over 2 coats of Mt. Carmel on the rest.

Both of these applied smoother than caramel, without the stickiness or calories of actual caramel. This duo is no longer available, but you can unearth many other treasures at both the Pahlish and Elevation Polish sites. Stalk the Elevation Polish blog and Pahlish Facebook for previews and updates!
